A poll has been granted for the election of TWO COUNCILLORS, RESORT VILLAGE OF NORTH GROVE and that voting will take place on Saturday, the 29th day of August, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the polling place listed below, and that I will, at the Village Office, on the 31st day of August, 2020 at the hour of 9:00 a.m., declare the result of the election.

Workers are needed for the election to be held in North Grove on August 29 2020, These are paid positions.
To be eligible to work you must be a Saskatchewan resident (lived in SK for at least 6 months before the day the election) and at least 16 years of age.

Fire Ban Lifted
Assessment Appeal deadline extended
Please note that the 2020 Assessment Roll for the Resort Village of North Grove was open for inspection with a closing date of May 15, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 health crisis, the Ministry of Government Relations has extended the assessment appeal deadline an additional 30 days from the original date of the roll closing.
The Resort Village of North Grove title holders are advised that the 2020 Assessment Roll will officially close at 4:00 pm on June 15 2020.

May 6 2020 Update
FIRE BAN IS IN EFFECT
Due to the rating of EXTREME FIRE DANGER, the Village of North Grove advises that a complete fire ban is now in effect for the Resort Village. NO OPEN FIRES will be permitted during this time. This includes recreational fires, burning of leaves or other open fire sources. Outdoor natural gas or propane BBQ's or cooking appliances are permitted.
Your cooperation to abide by the ban is greatly appreciated.
BOAT LAUNCH
Please be advised that the boat launch dock is tentatively scheduled to be installed this weekend, pending weather and staffing availability.
Also note that the Covid-19 safety regulations implemented by the Provincial Government must be adhered to at all times, please respect your neighbors by physical distancing.
PARKS/BEACH AREAS AND OTHER COMMUNITY SPACES
All recreational facilities are closed, playgrounds, basketball courts, picnic areas, etc , including beaches and shared public shoreline access. Boats may be launched at the Village resident boat launch as long as physical distancing requirements are strictly observed. These areas fall into stage 4 of Re-Open Saskatchewan (no date has been set)
Garbage Bins
Regular Bins: That the garbage bins are for household garbage only. All construction material is to be disposed of at cost of the developing property, and not in the regular 4 yard Loraas bins.
Large Bins: These bins are brought into the Village for the use of ratepayers only for general spring clean up. Accepted items: We are permitted to accept only solid, non-hazardous waste materials including general household garbage, food, yard and garden waste, etc. They are NOT intended for tree branches, tires, fridge’s (or any other house hold appliances), any regulated waste such as: hazardous waste, medical waste, pressure-filled containers, paint, used oil or containers, or electronics, building/construction materials or old docks.
ROAD WEIGHT LIMITS
The Village road has a weight limit of 8 tonnes (8000kg). Please ensure that your hauler is aware that they will need an over-weigh permit to be on our roadway if the total weight of the truck and load may exceed this limit. (top soil, rock, construction material, rock etc.) If you require a permit, please contact the office at rvnorthgrove@sasktel.net.
BUILDING
A building permit is required if you are building any structure over 9.5m². This includes but not limited to decks, and outbuildings. Please contact the office if you have any questions regarding building within North Grove.
